Job description
Software Architect required by a successful software company with a global customer base. The company is building a complex new SaaS platform and needs a Software Architect to take overall responsibility for its design and architecture. Their technology stack is .NET.
*Fully remote working - The company has software teams in the UK, Europe and US. They all work fully remote*
The Software Architect will work in close conjunction with three existing software development teams to begin with. The future scope of the role will involve working with other software development teams within the business for further portfolio integration in the next 1-2 years.
The Software Architect will be responsible for
- Leading integration design for the migration of products to the new SaaS platform
- Actioning feature requests from Product Managers
- Working with Project Managers and Development Managers to agree detailed requirements and establish an implementation plan including API designs, interaction diagrams etc
- Owning the entire platform architecture to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Proof of concept work and code samples - C#
Key experience
- Technical background in software development - C#
- Azure
- Proven experience owning the architecture for a complex SaaS platform in a .NET environment
- Liaising with cross functional teams including Product Manager, Project Managers, Dev Managers, DevOps etc
- API design
Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite
- CI/CD
- YAML
- NoSQL tools
- Git
- Agile
