We are seeking a talented Senior Developer with experience and/or aptitude for Technical Team Leadership.
Our client is a well-known digital retailer with a range of complex development projects running across their digital platforms. Having recently restructured the team they have a new opening for a Technical Team Lead; of which 50% of the time is hands on development and 50% is technical leadership.
The leadership element is not line management, this is an opportunity to help a talented team work collaboratively and to assist the management team in installing best practice and a quality driven approach. Work is varied, enjoyable and never dull! Every day poses a new challenge and a new opportunity to create consumer driven solutions in a very public facing domain.
Technical Requirements -
We are looking for Senior Developers, programmer with a passion for code, quality and keeping up to date with modern practices and techniques.
You will be well versed in Design Patterns, Solutions Design & development, full stack development with strong back end, database knowledge.
The Technology Environment incorporates the following. -
- C# .NET 3.5 - 4.5+
- Web tech - MVC 3+, HTML5 and CSS, JavaScript and frameworks
- Microservices
- Testing frameworks, i.e. NUnit, Moq, MSpec
- SOLID
- SQL, NServiceBus, ORMs
You will need 8+ years commercial experience in development, 1 year minimum within a leadership role, or at least assuming the responsibilities of a technical lead - mentoring, coaching, advising, driving quality etc.
