For: Contract Scrum Master
Term: 6 months
Location: Portsmouth with remote working
Our client is searching for a Contract Scrum Master to join their programme on an initial 6 month contract.
The Contract Scrum Master will need to set the standards required for great quality Agile delivery, and enable the team to grow and take ownership of the product iterations. A mindset of continuous improvement is essential for this key role.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate scrum meetings and ceremonies e.g. sprint planning; backlog refinement; stand-ups; show and tells (aka sprint reviews) and retrospectives
- Work with the Product Owners to ensure the product backlogs are refined and maintained
- Help to resolve impediments/blockers for the delivery teams
- Report on progress of the delivery teams
- Coaching and enabling the team in the Agile way of working
- Be a champion and advocate the values of the Agile way of working within the team and across the whole business
Skills & Experience:
- Scrum Master experience
- Agile delivery experience
- Risk management
- Software delivery lifecycle
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
