Database Analyst / Developer - MSSQL - Southampton area
SQL Server, Admin, Data Analysis, Data Reporting, Development, BI, DBA
A SQL Database Analyst / Database Developer is required to join an Agile development team based in Southampton, offering a collaborative environment, flexible working hours, scope for progression, modern offices and a strong benefits package.
The role would focus on the companies SQL databases, so good SQL database admin, analysis or development experience is essential, with a clear path into SQL Developer role.
The company offer innovative backend software solutions and this role would focus on administering, developing, managing and optimizing the company's SQL databases. The company heavily promote training and progression internally and would be happy to consider candidates from Data Analyst or DBA backgrounds who are keen to build on some existing SQL skills and move into a SQL developer / Database developer position.
Essential experience:
- SQL Database analysis or administration experience
- SQL Scripting skills
- Understanding of ETL processes
- Understanding of Agile, SCRUM
- Degree educated
Any experience in the following would be advantageous:
- Knowledge of BI; SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
- SQL 2017
- Microsoft Azure
- .Net programming skills
The company are based in Southampton and offer a salary based on experience from £30,000 - £45,000 + benefits and flexible working.
