SQL Database Developer - SQL 2016, BI, Optimisation - Southampton
Progression, Modern offices, OLAP, ETL, SSRS, Agile
A SQL Server / Database Developer is required to join an Agile team based in Southampton working on the development of innovative backend software solutions. The company work in a collaborative environment and offer flexibility around working hours, scope for progression, modern offices and a strong benefits package.
Most of the work will be focused on SQL 2016/17; developing, managing, tuning and optimizing the company's databases, so similar commercial experience essential. The company heavily promote training and progression internally and would be happy to consider candidates from Data Analyst or DBA backgrounds who are keen to build on some existing SQL Development skills.
Essential experience:
- SQL Server development and administration experience
- Data analysis
- ETL processes
- Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
- Degree educated or relevant certifications
Any experience in the following would be advantageous:
- Microsoft Azure
- OLAP Cubes
- C#.Net programming skills
The company are based in Southampton, easily accessible from the train station and offer a salary based on experience from £35,000 - £43,000 + benefits.
