Head of Customer Service - £80,000 - Fleet

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Leader to join a well-established client based in Fleet, Hampshire. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction whilst also being responsible for the support of all our client's products. This is a new role within the business and our client are looking for someone who will help to change their business model in the way they want to deliver to customers. Someone adaptable to change and transformation is key.

Skills required:

  • Strong leadership and business management skills
  • 5+ years within a customer facing role
  • 5+ years' experience of managing a team
  • Experience of complex business software implementation and customer support operations
  • Self-confident, persuasive and a natural influencer
  • Highly self-motivated

Role responsibilities:

  • Direct accountability for creating and maintaining the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction
  • Relentless attitude that only the best is good enough regarding customer service and deliverables - the SLA is the minimum service level and the team should be coached to consistently exceed customer expectations
  • To take responsibility for Level 1, Level 2 & Level 3 support for all products
  • Management of Customer Service team of approx. 40 people, primarily consisting of Support Consultants and Developers with deep product and domain knowledge
  • Accurate, internal management reporting, raising early indication of issues and recommending remedial action where necessary
