Job description
An IT Support Engineer is required to join a growing and highly progressive IT team from their head office based in ringwood.
The role of an IT Support Engineer will be to give 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line line support to internal customers (clients) which are based within their head office or from various satellite offices. You will be helping to support clients over the telephone, remotely and on occasion face to face. You will be supporting a wide variety of technologies including Windows desktop systems, Windows Server, Networking, Virtualisation and Application Support amongst others.
The ideal candidate for the IT Support Engineer role will preferably have experience of working for an IT outsourcing company or have worked within a multi-site IT support environment, trouble shooting issues and giving excellent customer service.
You will have experience within some of the following areas:
- Desktop support covering Windows 7, 8 & 10
- Windows Server 2012, 2016
- Office 365
- Application Support
- Networking
- Active Directory
- Azure
- Virtualisation (Hyper-V)
- ITIL Framework
As you will be speaking to my internal teams on a daily basis your communications and customer service skills must be very strong.
You will be working in a fast paced environment so your organisational skills must also be strong along with the ability to prioritise your work load where required.
