We have an excellent opportunity for a Scrum Master to join a successful FinTech software company at the beginning of an exciting journey. The company have big growth plans and a very exciting pipeline of work with an impressive range of financial clients. They are advocates of modern technology, innovation and product R&D and are looking for a Scrum Master to help them evolve and capitalise on this huge opportunity. In return you will be exposed to leading edge technology (both internally and through external training), you will develop your own skills and experience.

The company host 2 weekly R&D sessions to encourage innovation and with their ethos of continuous development you can be sure of a fast moving and progressive career with huge potential.

This position will suit a Scrum Master who has worked with a focus on leadership or a Software Development team lead who has managed or supervised within an agile environment.

Skills Required:

  • Proven SCRUM experience within a Software Development environment
  • Sprint planning, daily stand-ups & retrospective reviews
  • Actively promote Agile and Lean methodology
  • Commitment to Agile processes - ideally a Certified Scrum Master
  • Solid technical background (understanding or hands on experience in software development and web technologies)
  • Strong Team Manager - leading by example

There is a huge emphasis on you as a person, your technical journey up until now and where you want to take that? The company will happily invest in you and the development team if you show the commitment and desire to learn. They are currently sending developers on external training to learn TDD, Azure, Devops and cloud technology.

We want you to get involved in a range of their hardest problems, by helping other in the team when they hit those inevitable hurdles and by helping to define and refine great ways of working here. They are a small team with no real hierarchy, no bureaucracy, everyone is equal with the same tools and processes. It's up to you what you do with them!
