Software QA Engineer - Test Analyst - Automation - Agile - Medical Profession
Come and work with a pioneering software specialist building digital innovation within the NHS and GP Services supporting over 2 million patients nationwide. A great opportuinty to improve the working practices of first line medical professionals, GP's and Doctors in a time of significant demand for their services.
The QA Engineer will join a talented QA/Test function performing automation and manual software testing to a number of customer facing SaaS products. The business is highly collaborative with engineering teams based in the UK following Agile best practice.
The key skills are based around Software testing and ideally automation testing with Selenium using C# or Java, so experience in a similar environment is essential.
Required Skills and Experience:
At least 2-3 years+ commercial experience of Software testing, with experience in the following key areas:
- Commercial Automation testing experience using Selenium or similar
- Commercial experience of writing test scripts in C#, Java or similar
- Systems testing
- Experience of working in Agile and/or DevOps environments
- The ability to communicate effectively with software developers
- ISEB, ISTQB certification or similar
Currently operating a fully remote office, there plan is to be back in the office 2/3 days per week post restrictions. Thus you must be happy committing to their office in Bournemouth in the near future.
The company's offices are commutable from Bournemouth, Southampton, Basingstoke and Fareham areas and the company can on-board remotely under the current Covid-19 restrictions.
