Technical Pre-Sales Manager (Telecoms)

Technical Pre-Sales Manager (Telecoms) required to join a niche successful telecoms software house based in Camberley. You will be part of a strong technical team and have full responsibility for all technical aspects of the sales engagement. You will be responsible for driving continuous sales growth across all market sectors building on their strong reputation for technical innovation and product capability.

Skills Required:-

  • Technical Software Sales
  • Experience in complex technical deal negotiations
  • Creation and Delivery of Technical Presentations
  • Technical Requirements Gathering
  • Ability to communicate the benefits of complex technical solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities

Desirable Skills:-

  • Experience of mobile core network protocols and functionality
  • Experience of IP network protocols and functionality
  • Understanding of mobile telecoms network architectures
  • Technical Sales experience in a telecoms environment

You will be responsible for:-

  • Driving continued sales growth across multiple market sectors
  • Lead the technical sales engagements as required
  • Working with the business development team to build a global network of customers and system integrator partners
  • Building engagements with channel partners / systems integrators to be able to create solutions and selling these solutions into their specialist geographies and market sectors
  • Attending relevant exhibitions and trade shows in the UK and abroad as necessary

You day to day role will include:-

  • Negotiating and closing deals with new and existing channel partners / system integrators
  • Develop trusted partner relationships with key customers to retain and grow revenues over time
  • Maximising sales opportunities through managing corporate accounts
  • B2B Business Development
  • Propose Pricing for Products
  • Support the Head of Product with product management and product marketing activities
  • Technical Presentations
  • Preparing tenders, proposals and technical elements of complex quotations
  • Working with the support team to deliver focused pre-sales trial support
