How about developing software that saves lives? Wouldn't you rather work for a company that uses technology to make a positive impact on the lives of millions rather than an elite few?

Here is an opportunity for you to join a global technology company investing their money in to services to improve the performance & capabilities of our emergency services. From firefighters to ambulance crew and a police force fighting increasing knife crime you will be developing the systems & tools that help these wonderful people perform their jobs to their best ability.

To achieve this you will use the best and most appropriate technology that allows for optimal performance of these large and complex systems. Broken down in to microservices architecture using TypeScript and JavaScript developing these large systems becomes lean and agile, fast and efficient, enabling scalability and performance.

What is about you that will make you succeed in this position?

  • Loves to write great code

What do you need to get started?

TypeScript is the fundamental skill set we are looking for, ideally within Microservices. However, not many people have worked with typescript so there are some options:

  1. Established experience with TypeScript development. 1+ years' experience
  2. Current experience of JavaScript, specifically React JS, 1+ year.
  3. C# / .Net development experience (1+ year) with either ReactJS or TypeScript (3+ months)

Whichever category you fit in to you will cross train to TypeScript so you will have the desire and enthusiasm to learn it!

What's in it for you?

The company is a large and well known tech consultancy offering a lot of career development opportunities within software & web technology, from development to architecture, product to project. There will be a huge range of career opportunities available to you.

They offer competitive salaries, training budgets and time invested in you and your career to support your development.
