Senior QA Engineer

Senior QA Engineer required to join an AI SaaS company building a new remote based team in Portugal.

This is a brand-new role as part of a new QA function, and will lead the end-to-end product quality, integrating QA across the SDLC.

This is fully remote role, but candidates must already be based in Portugal with full right to work.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Lead the entire QA discipline
• Design and build QA systems for white-box and black-box testing
• Own release management
• Design and maintain automation for UI, API, component, and E2E tests
• Design, own, and evolve performance and stress testing

Essential experience:

• 5+ years in QA/Software Engineering with strong hands-on Python development experience
• Strong release management experience
• Background working within a SaaS company
• Experience working within a start-up or ability to show a start-up mindset
• Test frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress
