Hampshire AI is back with it's next event!

On Wednesday 18th June, we will be joined by Dorothy Agnew, Legal Director at Broadfield Law UK LLP, and Richard Willats, Data Quality & Safety Evaluation Specialist at Contextual AI. From automation mishaps to biased algorithms and ethical oversights, we’ll examine cautionary tales and “AI horror stories” that highlight the importance of responsible development and deployment.

About Dorothy

Dorothy has spent many years advising businesses in the IT and Telecoms sector. She specialises in information technology, intellectual property and data protection law and her work involves structuring contracts for complex and new-to-market technologies including those providing AI and machine learning technologies.

About Richard

Richard is a Data Analyst and AI Safety Specialist at Contextual AI, where he helps customers tackle safety and brand risk challenges in real-world AI deployments. He designs and runs targeted tests to uncover harmful model behaviour, combining data-driven analysis with creative problem-solving to ensure AI systems are safe, reliable, and aligned with brand values.


There will be the chance for networking before and after Dorothy and Richard's talks. Whether you’re building AI tools or just curious about their impact, this event will offer key insights into why safety, ethics, and accountability must be at the heart of innovation.
