1st Line Support Engineer - £22,000 - Hook

Excellent opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join our clients very well established support in who are based in Hook, Hampshire. You'll be given the chance to enhance your skill set further and the main responsibilities of the role are to make sure high levels of customer service and satisfaction are maintained as well as provided good technical support when required.

Key skills:

  • MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ideally previous helpdesk experience
  • Strong IT skills
  • Windows desktop, Windows Sever (beneficial)
  • Strong customer service skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first level support through taking calls and handling incidents/service requests
  • Provide customer with regular updates on the progress of the Service requests
  • Track, route and redirect problems to correct resources
  • Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure of tickets
  • Regular reporting to the Service Delivery Manager
  • Providing support to the Help Desk Analysists when required
