IT Support Engineer

This is a great opportunity for an experienced 2nd line support analyst to join an established Managed Service Provider supporting local SME's and larger companies with a range of technical issues. The company are looking for a skilled 2nd line support analyst to become part of their small team supporting clients with Cloud migrations, infrastructure support, network engineering and project-based support. As an MSP they work closely with their clients supporting all of their IT needs and embed themselves into their clients IT set up providing total support for all their users.
This role would involve managing and supporting users to a 2nd line level and working with the existing team on exciting projects including Cloud migrations, IoT implementations and IT security builds. This would be an excellent opportunity for an established 1st line support analyst looking to step up into a 2nd line role or an experienced 2nd line engineer looking for a role within an MSP that offers more responsibility in a dynamic and technically challenging environment. The company are going through a period of growth and transformation. They have started to specialise in Cloud technologies and network design/support and offer the opportunity to gain Certifications in a variety of technologies.
The position offers scope for progression, training opportunities (including paying for certifications and training courses), an excellent MSP company culture and a starting salary from £24,000 - £28,000 based on experience.
Essential Requirements
- Prior experience in a Managed Service Provider environment
- O365
- Windows Server 2016 &/or 2019
- Experience in an Azure environment
- Network experience (router/firewall configuration)
- VMware or Hyper-V experience
Nice to have's
- Knowledge of WatchGuard or DrayTek firewalls
- Server migration experience
- SQL Server
- Office 365 migrations
- MCP/MCTS qualifications
