Project Manager - Digitalisation, Systems Integration - Up to £70,000


We are currently working alongside one of our Civil Engineering companies to help recruit a Project Manager who is proficient in digitalisation. This company prides itself in its delivery of high delivery and cost-effective solutions for its clients.


The role will predominantly be focusing on in house projects which are key to the business. A strong & confident person with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders is essential in this role.
Strong Project Management acumen, budgeting, planning, MS Projects, Governance & Risk management is a vital part of this role and will be a key fundamental to achieve with this company.


What will you be doing?
* You will focus on delivering digital transformation projects using data and technology to challenge the status quo by:
* Reducing the administrative burden for our operational teams
* Implementing innovative solutions that deliver value to our people and customers
* Enhance our user experience through a 'self-service' approach to knowledge management
* Improve the quality and accessibility of real time management information to drive decision making for both VGC and our clients
* Providing leadership to drive a culture of continuous improvement
* The day-to-day delivery lead on digital transformation projects from requirements gathering, process improvement, project objectives, software identification, system testing and implementation, post-implementation support and adoption analysis.
* Project manage digital transformation projects including team management, processes, communications, culture, and behaviours.


What are we looking for in You?
* A self-starter with a desire to deliver change
* Proven experience in leading digital transformation projects either within management consultancy or an in-house role where you have gained exposure to transformation projects
* High problem-solving ability with an innovative approach to solutions.
* A positive, proactive, and forward-thinking attitude.
* Able to lead and manage teams from diverse functions and backgrounds collaboratively
* Able to communicate confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Solid relationship management and communication skills, to provide information confidently and enable the end-user to understand complex data analysis.
* Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
