Application Support Engineer - Southampton - £25K to £30K

Job description

Application Support Engineer is required to join a growing software development company from their head office based on the outskirts of Southampton.

The role of an Application Support Engineer will be a very hands on role, liaising with their growing customer base and helping to solve all technical support issues that arise in regard to the digital solutions that my client produces.

Key responsibilities

  • Be the key day-to-day contact for clients
  • Manage support requests efficiently
  • Deal with issues and bugs as they are reported and escalate where appropriate
  • QA checking websites and updates
  • Carry out certain requests (e.g. page updates, email newsletters, testing and release)
  • Proactively suggesting improvements and new features for clients
  • Monthly reporting and maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Able to clearly present ideas internally, in meetings and on the phone

Required skills/experience

  • 2-3 years' experience in regard to Application Support
  • Efficient and organised
  • Ability to collect and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS
  • Some Web experience
  • Used to working in a team
