Job description
Spectrum IT's Southampton Client are seeking an experienced Solution Architect. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Architect with a strong knowledge of Azure, C# & JavaScript to work with a business as an external consultant.
As the consultant you will analyse the business requirements and propose architectural/development based choices. Working with the lead software developers you will design the architecture and present to the project team creating a thorough understanding for tasks and work required.
Experience Required:
- Experience of cloud system/solution architecture in Azure
- Development with Azure DevOps
- Experience of Big Data, IOT, HPC and other cloud architectural styles
- Software development in an Agile or Scrum process
Architectural Skills Required:
- System analysis of software requirements
- Design of cloud software architectures
- Assessment of technological risks for new projects
- Presentation of technical solutions to stakeholders and teams
- Estimating software projects, decomposing the work into subsystems and tasks
- Application of various paradigms and techniques in software design
Technologies:
- Languages: C#, JavaScript, Typescript, SQL
- Frameworks / Tools: .NET Core, Asp.NET Web Forms / MVC / Core / Web API
- UI Frameworks: Angular, Windows Forms, WCF, WPF, React, Vue, Three.js
- Cloud platforms / services: Azure, Azure IaaS (VMs, networking), Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure AD, Azure Key Vault, Azure App Insights, Azure Traffic Manager, Azure Logic App, AWS IaaS, AWS Lambda
