Infrastructure Engineer - Brighton - £30,000 - £35,000
Virtualisation, Windows, Active Directory, Servers
Exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Infrastructure Engineer to join our clients Brighton-based team. You will be working with internal infrastructure, including desktops, servers and networks, as well as our expanding cloud platforms on AWS and Azure. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company who are a leading provider in their sector.
Skills required:
- Administering Windows Server and UNIX based systems
- Virtualisation technologies, including Hyper-V
- Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS and RDS
- PowerShell and UNIX shell
Desired Skills
- Networking technologies (common protocols, VLANS, VPNs, firewalls and routers etc.)
- Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
- SQL Server and IIS
- Microsoft certification
Key Responsibilities
- Setup, Support and maintenance of servers, networks and all IT infrastructure
- Undertaking new IT projects
- Support and troubleshoot IT issues
- Maintaining and creating new IT system documentation
- Supporting developers and projects with new system deployments
