Service Desk Technician (Level 2)

An international company, based in Southampton is seeking a Service Desk Technician (Level 2) to join their existing IT Service Desk Department to provide day to day support for existing IT Services.

This is a great opportunity for a Service Desk Technician (Level 2) to develop their career further with a structured career path plan.

This is a varied role and as a Service Desk Technician (Level 2) you will:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support
  • Complete troubleshooting for both Windows and Mac environments
  • Manage and implement initiatives or change controls
  • Take ownership of IT incidents and take a proactive approach when dealing with user issues
  • Create work instructions and knowledge articles
  • Assist Level 1 on projects and complex support issues
  • Be a familiar with asset, service, monitoring and documentation tools

The successful Service Desk Technician (Level 2) will have experience with:

  • Active Directory account administration
  • Troubleshooting Microsoft Office
  • Mobile device support and management
  • Office 365 Administration
  • Proven experience of using and configuring Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Laptop, Desktop and printer hardware
  • Microsoft exchange mailboxes and permissions

The role of Service Desk Technician (Level 2) is paying £24,000 - £27,000 with excellent benefits including, up to 26 days holiday, Pension, Dental, Private Medical, Gym Membership, free parking and more.
